The Brewery
Naganuma Sake Brewery
Located in Nagai, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan, Naganuma Sake Brewery has a long history rooted in the local community. The brewery began producing sake in 1916 and continues to preserve traditional brewing techniques in its historic brewery, which is registered as a Tangible Cultural Property of Japan. In 2010, the brewery introduced its sake brand, SOUMURA, with a philosophy of creating sake that people can enjoy time and time again.
